Development and Future Expansion
Thanks to the Lyon Foundation. They provided the funds to purchase the property next door, Metals GoodManufacturing. We are now renovating that space. The Mabee Foundation of Tulsa provided a $63,000 matching grant for renovating our new property. John Bond of Diversified Systems provided the funds for the new Joyce Bond Education Center.
The three additional buildings and property will give us room for:
-
a mini-gym so we can provide more active physical activities for our kids and space indoors to play.
-
education center & computer lab for after school tutoring .
-
an outdoor play area that will triple our current space and additional parking space.
-
a laser tag facility & expanded recreation area with the potential to earn revenue for our ongoing free programs. (Long term goal to be completed in the next phase)
Our Next Goal: $75,000 for additional operating expenses as we move into the new buildings.
You can help by volunteering for projects around the new property or giving to the operation of these new facilities. See the volunteer or funding pages.
